2009 fantasy football league registration floodgates officially opened!

footballThat’s right, folks. Following the lead of Yahoo! and ESPN, every other fantasy football league hosting site known to man has begun accepting league registrations for the 2009 season. Here are but a few to get you started:

CBS Sports

FOX Sports

Fleaflicker.com

Fanball.com

NFL.com

AFFL.com

Myfantasyleague.com

Fantasybowl.com

I personally have experience with the first four sites on that list and have found them to be, overall, positive in previous years. As for the rest, you’re on your own, champ!

Old Forums

The old forums are still active for the time being. You’ll find a link to them in the main menu above. I would hate to delete them and lose all the user accounts and statistics and such (as I’m sure some of you would too). So, they’ll remain there until I’ve made a strong effort to transfer existing users over to the new forums. Of course, I encourage you to create a new account and just use that. Just a heads-up.

More changes

Well, the old site, powered by Joomla!, just wasn’t working for us, so we switched to a new content management system. This should be a little less complicated for our posters and powerful enough to do everything we need. Let me know if there is anything you’d like to see. We’ll start getting the content updated soon.

Cheers!
